FTC Disclosure

You may be aware of the new FTC (Federal Trade Commission) requirements that went into force on December 1st 2009. If not, you can find them here: Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising

These guidelines compel affiliate marketers like us to make a full disclosure when we are compensated for the recommendations we make.

If you don’t know what affiliate marketing is…affiliate marketing is when someone makes a recommendation for a product and gets paid a commission for it.

You can assume that most of the links on this blog are affiliate links and we will get paid a commission should you buy anything from the recommended site.

However, you may feel comforted by the fact that we wouldn’t recommend any site that doesn’t offer you good value. And the price you pay when you purchase via our links is exactly the same as going direct to the product vendor.

So please consider this notice our “full disclosure” that we are paid affiliates.

P.S. You must not take the advice on this blog as expert medical advice. If you are in doubt as to what type of injury or condition you have, the type of brace you need or the expected results from using a brace, please seek advice from a medical professional.
